I thought this might be interesting. All the Slimey Characters of Stargate SG-1 go head to head and Maybourne comes out as the winner. I thought it would most likely be Samuels. Those who don't remember Samuels he is from the earlier episodes and basically nobody liked him. He was the officer who first went to talk to O'Neill about retuning to Cheyenne Mountain regarding the Stargate. He also proposed and went ahead with Launching the Goa'uld Busters, Naquadah laced Nuclear missiles, against Apophis' invasion fleet of earth. I thought this guy was more slimey because he always tried to be kind to the people he was supposed to work with yet he turned to Senator Kinsey and briefed him on the project he was against which virtually betrayed his colleagues. And why did he want the project shit down? Because he was not going through the Stargate on missions and he wanted to desperately. Therefore, if he can't go then nobody can go. He uttered to Kawalsky before he stepped through the gate, "You know I kinda wish I were going with you" only to have Kawalsky reply with "I'm kinda glad your not going!" Once agian more anonymous comments. " I think senator kinsey is more dangerous than Colonel Maybourne. Senator Kinsey is in a position of power and he is going to try to use that power." That is true. Another comment; "Maybourne is actually the kind of enemy that you respect." In a sense I kind of agree with this person. Maybourne is quite respectful as an enemy of course. He's sneaky and I actually like the character, and so does this person agree.. "How can you hate Harry? I love harry. He is awsome." How can I possible come back after that. Another fan. Wow! We should start a Colonel Maybourne Fan Club. But to finish it off we'll have some wise words from this fan, "Maybourne has some redeeming characteristics and Samuels is simply a little toad unworthy of notice. Kinsey is the real snake in the grass."

FINAL RESULTS

I thought this might be good poll to start of with. Asking you all out there which season you enjoyed the most on Stargate so far. Personally I enjoyed the 1st season the most. Perhaps because it was in its early days and still finding its feet. This does not mean that I dislked the other seasons. There was just something about the 1st season that has made it that little bit better than the other seasons for me. For me Stargate is Season One. And in each season the show grows on. It has different and new aspects being introduced each season. Many people often say that it is turning into Star Trek, but then that is a matter of opinion. I do not believe it is turning into Star Trek. The show may be adopting some of the same narrative code that Star Trek employs and so do many other shows regardless of their genre, creators and storyline. These code are just something that go into the making of a well rounded and successful television series. No too many user comments on this poll and they were all anonymous as well. First comment is "Wow I'm in the majority, how unusual!" I wonder who this person was? Whoever they were they must have voted for season three as it is the winner of this poll. However they may have voted at a time when the other seasons were ahead therefore we will never know. "Season three--terrific Daniel season, excellent team season." We have a daniellite in our midst and a fan of team co-operation. At least we know which season they voted for. And finally "Yes, season one was the best." I must admit, I agree with this person completely.
