Michael Shanks is to make his first european convention appearance at Wolf SG-4. Shanks is finally making appearances at conventions, his first being the San Diego Comic Con. His next appearance will be on October 20 & 21, 2001 Sydney, Australia at the Best of Both Worlds 12 Stargate SG-1 convention, along with other famous SG-1 stars including Tony Amendola, Colin Cunningham and Alexis Cruz.

Wolf SG-4 will be from 1 - 3 February 2002. Adult weekend Tickets will cost £60 and child weekend Tickets will cost £30. There will be no day Tickets available for this convention. The first 250 ticket holders will be welcome to the Exclusive Guest cocktail party. The weekend will be full of activities including, Photo Sessions, Autographs, Guest Talk, Fancy Dress, Merchandise & Party's. Also appearing at her 3rd Wolf SG Event is Amanda Tapping. Tickets for this event are expected to sell out so book early to make sure you have a ticket. At the time being there is no venue information because it has not yet been decided upon. This years Wolf SG-3 convention will take place on the 2-4 of November and will be at the Heathrow Park Hotel. Although it has not been announced yet some fans believe that the SG-4 con might be at the same location as the SG-3 con.
