Lantash who was once blended with Martouf, will in Season Five blend with a young Cadet called Elliot in the Episode proving ground. Elliot will be among some of the cadets being trained by SG-1. Among these Cadets also includes Jennifer Hailey whom we met in season Fours "Prodigy". Elliot/Lantash will then make another appearance in Season Five's two parter Summit and Last Stand for a tearful goodbye to Sam.

It is not known yet whether Lantash will be a main character in the spin off, but if he does then that might be a clue as to what the series might focus on. This could mean that the new series might be based upon the resistance group, The Tok'Ra, which are now as much a part of the Stargate concept as the Stargate itself.
